Brooke Mueller Is A Criminal

Does anyone have as little respect for Brooke Mueller as I do? Doubtful! Apparently, she required the help (forced help, I'm sure) of rehab, not once, but TWICE while pregnant.  For both alcohol and meth.  She has two twin sons (nope, didn't just mess up one kid) that are exhibiting behaviors related to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and other drug induced issues. At the age of 4 years old!!!  And she wants custody of them back??? This is reprehensible when done by crack mothers who have often little to no access to education or help, but a multimillionaire in a high profile relationship, who has had plenty of access to support and information??  Even worse!!  She should be in prison!

Hey Girl's Ryan Gosling App

I thought this was the cutest thing ever!! I mean, is there such a thing as too much Ryan Gosling?  I think not! Hey Girl's new chrome extension is good for all chrome based browsers (I downloaded it for torch browser and it works great!) After all, when Ryan's all over the place, there can't be any bad news!!

All Grown Up!!

Okay, so maybe the girl is cute, and maybe she's got a nice body, but OMG!!  Little Miley sure has grown up... Think her papa Billy Ray is proud? No matter what age, if I were up on stage twerking my brains out, I'd be hearing something from my folks, and it wouldn't be positive.  But then, I guess rock stars grow up differently!!

The Royal Baby

The object of England's infatuation is now out there in the world.  It amazed me how many articles there were in the months leading up, predicting the sex of the baby, on the pools for what the name would be, and interviews with commoners about their reaction to the pregnancy, as if Kate Middleton was housing an alien child in there.  You'd have thought a baby had never been born in England before.

I have mixed feelings on the newsworthiness of it all, but at the same time, I can't help but joining in on the happiness of the occasion.  Maybe not because it's such a monumental occurrence in history, but a monumental one in the lives of this family, with their personal matters spattered all over the internet and newspapers for everyone else to join in with them.

I don't know what I think of the royal family.  I guess a part of me likes the fairytale of it all, the idea that princes and princesses still live their fabulous lives in this day and age.  And another part of me is slightly disgusted by the money they possess that could bring every poor person in the country, and possible in the world, out of their poverty, and yet sits in their possession because no one makes them use it properly despite the fact that as a royal family they hold no actual rule in the country.

I guess my opinion doesn't really matter. And in the end I'm happy for them.  Royalty or not, everyone deserves a healthy, happy family.

In Honor Of A Great Little Gal

I first found out about Talia Castellano a while ago when I was browsing youtube to find make-up tips.  All of a sudden I came across this little firecracker who had no hair, but did a bang up make-up job.  So I watched more videos and learned her story, and was totally blown away by her as a general person.  I mean, one of the worst cancer cases possible, and big smile!  Repeated chemotherapy, and make-up lessons!  Long hospital stays, and bubbling positivity!  I remember thinking at the time, is this possible?  Is this girl for real?  And yet, real she most certainly was.  A couple days ago the girl I thought would no doubt make it through, didn't.  Just like I could hardly believe someone could exist under her circumstances with such a prevalent lust for life, I could hardly believe that such a vibrant person could lose in the end.  So I put this up in honor of a true one-of-a-kind little gal, to remember what an amazing person she was, and how inspirational a little positivity can be.  RIP Talia, you will be greatly missed.

Get Unblocked

Check this out!! It's actually possible to access any site anywhere!  Tired of this when you're trying to access a site from outside the country?:
Or when trying to access anything restricted because of content...?  Short of a VPN, the only way to easily access any site, anywhere, is with the torch browser.  I'm planning a short vacation abroad, and I was worried I would be totally disconnected from my American stations.  Torch must have read  my mind and included a site unblocker as part of their standard browser.  It's awesome for Americans going abroad, or for anyone who wants access to US TV/sites but isn't from here.  No matter where you are, you can access whatever you want!  Pretty cool really... See for yourself, http://www.torchbrowser.com, change your country and take a mini vacation while sitting on your living room couch.

What Barbie SHOULD look like!

Alright, so chances are Mattel isn't going to rush out and change the anatomical formula for their prized possession Barbie.  But this slightly more realistic representation by artist Nickolay Lamm shows what Barbie would look like if she was actually modeled after a real human being and not some crazy anime-like dream.  To be honest, I think she looks a lot better, and somehow I don't feel quite as bad about myself looking at this version than the impossibly perfect one that lines the shelves of toy stores.  Wouldn't it be nice if Mattel did take a hint?
